Jonathan Daniel/Allsport

He is a pass rush type DE that missed the entire '98 season with an ankle injury and he should have opted to return to Michigan State for another year. He enters this draft as somewhat of an unknown and will need excellent spring workouts to raise his stock. He is a tall, rangy guy with some pass rush skills but he hasn't shown a lot of consistency or production over his career. He is one of those guys that looks a lot better than he plays. He is not a great finisher, he lets blockers get to his feet and he does not always play great versus the run. For all of his AA, he doesn't have great open field speed and he is not really a sideline to sideline guy. He is somewhat intriguing because of his height and pass rush potential, but he is a long ways from being a finished product and whoever drafts him will have to be very patient.
