He is another guy that some NFL teams are projecting as an ILB because of his size. He was highly rated entering the '98 season, but his draft stock has fallen because of an inconsistent year and he is a guy that doesn't seem to play up to his athletic abilities. He certainly passes the eye test, he runs well and he is a good workout guy, but at this stage he isn't a real natural looking player. He doesn't do a great job of taking on blocks and he is not quite as physical versus the run as he should be. He does have the size to take on a TE on the NFL level if he is left at OLB and he has enough range and speed to become a good chase guy. Something seems to be missing here, as he looks like a player but he just doesn't excite. He will probably be drafted higher than his production indicates and he could develop into a terrific NFL player, but he is not a sure thing at this point.
