Johnny Rutledge
Scott Halleran/Allsport
He is not a real physical ILB and is more of a player that gets by on instincts, AA and quickness. He shows excellent ability to "get through the trash" and find the football. He has excellent range for an ILB and may be the best cover guy in the group. The only time he really gets into trouble is when a big OL gets to him and he has fight to get off the block. As long as he is in space and on the move, he is very effective. He also has excellent leverage and hand use and good lateral movement. In the right scheme, he should develop into a very solid player and is another guy that should outstanding on special teams.
