This is the player that everybody will pull for on draft day. He has a fascinating background, by all reports he is a wonderful person and everybody that comes in contact with him is in love with this guy. He has been compared to Miami's Zach Thomas because of his lack of size and true NFL measurables, but he may not be quite as good as Thomas. He is an unbelievably instinctive player that has a knack of making plays, flies to the football and he has a motor that never stops. He has a real knack for "getting over the trash" and getting to the football and he is a good open field tackler with better than average cover skills. He will have to be used properly on the NFL level and can probably not be an every down player. As tough as he is, his lack of size will get him buried by big interior OLs on the next level. He certainly looks like he could fit as a great special teams player, possibly a nickel ILB and could fill a variety of roles. If character and intensity have anything to do with being a NFL player, this guy will be on a roster in 1999.
