He is one of the more physical ILBs in this draft and is much better than a run defender than pass cover guy. He is excellent between the tackles, will step up and take on the block can be very physical at he POA. He does not always do a great job of shedding blocks, he does lack range and he simply doesn't run well enough to fit in as an every down player. On the NFL level, he will strictly be a 1st and 2nd down guy and he will be a liability in pass coverage. There are however, a lot of guys like him playing in the league and he will bring a toughness versus the run that will be welcomed by many NFL defenses. This guy has played a quality brand of football on a high level of competition and should be a solid, but not necessarily an exciting NFL player.
