He is a strong and powerful player that is starting to sneak up on a lot of NFL draft boards. He is a former walk-on at Arkansas that has made himself into a good player with great effort and intensity. He is much better as a run blocker than in pass protection and he is a classic short area pile mover. What he lacks in athletic ability and range, he makes up for in toughness and aggressiveness and if he can get his hands on you, he will win most inside battles. He is not a great looking player in space, he does not have great athletic qualities and he would not be ideal in pulling and trapping situations. NFL teams love his intensity and short area power and he will be a nice fit to a team that wants to improve their toughness and run game up front.
