He is a big physical guy with a background as a defensive lineman. He is really starting to learn the OG position and at this stage, he is a better run blocker than pass protector. He plays with decent overall knee bend and has good coil and pop and displays fairly good balance and feet for a man of his size. He has some trouble with speed rushers and needs to improve on his pass pro techniques, as he will have a tendency to overplay the block and lunge, but all of his faults appear to be correctable. He has had some weight problems in the past and when he gets too heavy, he turns into a sluggish player. This is not a finished product, but he is a guy that seems to be slowly creeping up NFL draft boards as his experience catches up to his talent.
