He may be a little tentative on many NFL draft boards because of his durability. He has had a lot of knee problems in his career which forces him to miss time and as good as he is, he is not really a complete player. He has been used primarily as a pass rusher on the college level and does show an excellent 1st step and explosiveness off the corner. He has excellent adjust in space and he can chase down the QB. He has good speed and range and is at his best when he is uncovered and playing in space. He has marginal experience in pass coverage and he is not a guy that can take on blocks very well and play the run. He really fits best as a 34 OLB in the Kevin Greene mold that would concentrate on rushing the QB. The most important piece to this puzzle may be his ability to pass NFL physicals in the spring leading up to the draft.
