He is an interesting guy coming off a fairly impressive combine, where he was very explosive in most of his drills, especially in straight-line situations, but he did not look quite as smooth in change of direction drills. He is somewhat of a tweener and has a lot of experience on the college level as a situational pass rusher off the edge. He has excellent overall strength for his size and will flash as an explosive hitter and has an excellent first step. He is not a guy who is natural in drops and coverage, and while he is an up-field player, he can't really be projected to DE, as he would really struggle to hold up versus the run. His natural fit is in a 3-4 defense as an up-field rusher, where he can utilize his explosiveness and pass rush ability. The team that drafts him will have to fit him into their scheme, but there is an interesting upside here.
