Jon Jansen
Jonathan Daniel/Allsport
He is not as physically gifted as some of the other guys in this draft, in terms of speed and athletic ability, but he is a tough hard-nosed guy that is almost an overachiever. He is a good technician that puts himself in good position to make blocks and he has good short area lock-on skills. He has some explosion at a punch, but he is not really naturally strong. He is better at run blocking than pass blocking and he may lack the range to handle an edge rusher on the NFL level. He plays with a lot of pride and toughness and he has good short area and lock-on qualities. He is somewhat "safe" pick in the fact that he will show up and work everyday and give you a 100% effort even though he possesses adequate overall skills.
