Tom Hauck/Allsport Two-year starter. Had a good senior year. Reasonably tall, but slender. Not muscular or strong. Intelligent. Reads defenses well. Has average quickness in his setup. Holds the ball a bit low. Inconsistent with his mechanics. Winds up a bit in his delivery. Drops down and throws across his body too much under pressure. Not elusive, but can roll and throw. Accurate in the short-to-mid range. Throws the ball well on time. Lacks a powerful arm. More of a touch passer than gunner. Lays the deep ball up nicely, but needs to improve his long ball accuracy.
