Tom Pidgeon/Allsport Former tight end. Moved to fullback in '98. Flexible athlete. Solid receiver. Smooth in his release. Has soft natural hands and the body control to make tough grabs. Runs well after the catch. Rarely carried from scrimmage. Has power, but lacks good in-traffic elusiveness and vision. Somewhat of a long strider. Needs to upgrade his blocking. Has good initial spring and the range to get outside, but is not an active on-the-move striker. Can bend his knees but he falls off blocks too easily. Not explosive. Situational type. Could return to tight end.
