Andy Lyons/Allsport Backup quarterback most of his career. Sat out '98 with a knee injury. Returned as a senior and was moved to fullback. An impressive specimen with a muscular build and very good strength. Energetic and tough. Does a good job of leading up inside and contacting linebackers. Can adjust on the move. Aware in pass protection. Inconsistent blocker overall -- lunges and goes to his knees too often. More athletic than fast. Upright runner. Not quick to the hole but he has decent vision and cutback ability. Capable receiver. Needs work on pass routes.
