An athletic free safety with very good size. Tall and well-built with long arms. Attacks the run with good form. Keeps his shoulders squared nicely as he glides through traffic. Quick footed. Sets himself well to tackle -- not explosive but is secure. Long strider with average speed. Not fluid in his backpedal or turn. Better in zone than man coverage. Has good lateral movement in space. Alert. Reacts well and has good hands and excellent leaping ability. Impressed in the Motor City Bowl. Needs technique work, but has a lot of natural ability.
