A durable four-year starter with a compact frame and short arms. Doesn't have ideal long speed or recovery ability, but he's a fluid athlete with very quick feet and good change of direction. Technically sound. Fluid in his backpedal with good balance. Very good breaking out and driving on the ball. Anticipates well with no wasted steps. Does a good job of jumping on inside routes. Aware in a zone. Not aggressive fighting to the ball in run defense, but is a decent tackler for a player his size. Should contribute in a nickel role immediately.
