A shorter-than-ideal tight end with a thick build. Tough competitor. Used in the backfield and as a motion tight end a lot -- good on the move blocker who strikes square, keeps his feet and works to sustain. Will dive at defenders' legs to make a play. Alert and active. Not real powerful or explosive -- isn't as good a blocker working at the line. Not used much in the passing game -- has limited skills in that area. Adequate short range target who can catch in traffic. Has inconsistent hands in general. Lacks good speed. Could project as a blocking back.
