Tom Pidgeon/Allsport A sure-handed possession receiver who emerged as a first year starter in '99. Big target. Aware route runner with a good sense of timing. Changes speeds well. Willing over the middle. Screens defenders very well when the ball is in the air. Shows good concentration in a crowd. Rounds his out cuts a little. Lacks a burst out of his breaks. Has poor speed -- not a vertical threat. Capable runner after the catch. Good downfield blocker. Lack of good speed works against him -- could get some consideration at tight end, but would need to get bigger.
