Four-year starter. A muscular 4-3 middle linebacker with extremely long arms and big hands. Could project on the strong side. Somewhat slow in his initial reaction, but he's a rugged player who takes on blocks aggressively and is a solid wrap tackler. Athletic. Has good speed. Works hard to the ball and makes plays on the move but runs around blocks some and loses his proper angle. Needs to play lower and protect his legs better. Long strider. Good inside blitzer. Adequate in pass coverage. Can work effectively against a tight end -- a little slow to react in space.
