Fireplug nose tackle type. Is short, but has solid legs, a thick torso and good upper body strength. Quick off the ball. Has power in his initial strike. Can run through a gap and disrupt. Plays low. Has good balance. Anchors fairly well. Has some trouble escaping when blockers get into his body -- has relatively short arms. Disciplined. Reacts quickly. Redirects well. Not fast or consistent in pursuit. Above average inside pass rusher. Lacks dynamic moves, but uses his quickness and power combination effectively. Showed well in the postseason.
