A thick-legged defensive tackle with a wide frame and relatively long arms. Flabby, but powerful. Has average quickness off the ball. Plays with good leverage. Can penetrate and disrupt. Goes to the ground a little too much. Has some trouble against the double team. Reasonably athletic. Not dynamic on the move, but he runs well for a player his size and gives an effort in pursuit. Above average inside pass rusher who can push the pocket on his power charge. Aggressive arm extender. Has a decent closing burst, but isn't smooth in his change-of-direction.
