JuCo transfer. Returned from a junior knee injury to have a big senior year. A short inside backer with thick legs, a muscular upper body and good strength. Physical. Takes on blocks tough. Separates well. Needs to protect his legs better and locate quicker. Gets walled off some but he's a relentless chaser who works hard in pursuit and has good speed. Strong tackler. Strikes with force and wraps well. A little stiff. Lacks quick change of direction. Only adequate in pass defense. Has good special teams potential. Impressed at the Senior Bowl.
