JuCo transfer. First year starter in '99. Well-built. Has solid legs, a muscular upper body, long arms and good strength. Promising pass rusher. Quick at the snap with good forward spring. Attacks with his arms extended. Has power in his charge. Doesn't have classic speed or polished moves, but is quick. Works well back to the inside. Shows good second effort. Needs improvement in run defense. Only adequate holding his ground and defeating blocks. Inconsistent in finding the ball, but gives an effort in pursuit. Should continue to improve.
