A productive outside backer with thin legs and a sturdy upper body. Plays with intensity and toughness. Takes on blocks aggressively and holds his position fairly well, but is not quick to escape. Moves well laterally. Active in pursuit. More fast than quick. A little tight in his movements. Not a form tackler, but efficient. Has a pass rush burst off the edge, but can get pushed wide when he doesn't gain an initial advantage. Capable in pass defense. Does a good job against the tight end coming off the line, but needs improvement in man coverage.
