Three-year starter with average defensive tackle size. Thick-legged. Not muscular in the upper body, but has power. Better run defender than pass rusher. Not quick off the ball, but he's a fairly good athlete with solid technique. Extends his arms and does a good job of using his hands. Has good balance. Protects his legs well. Instinctive. Locates quickly. Has decent range. Works well down the line. Good competitor. Only adequate as a pass rusher. Can push the pocket some, but he lacks good quickness and moves. Gets his hands up well.
