Starter since his freshman year. Played defensive end, but projects as a pro linebacker. Has a narrow frame and a muscular build. Pass rusher type with quick feet and good agility. Shows a smooth swim move and the ability to redirect to the inside. Gives a good second effort, but has trouble escaping when blockers get into his body. Quick to the inside in run defense. Has the speed to pursue and make plays on the move, but he gives ground at the point of attack and gets bounced around too much. Raw in coverage. Will need time to develop into an every down player.
