An athletic free safety prospect who has started since his freshman year. Sat out the '98 season with a knee injury. Was used at corner as a senior. Well-built, but slender. A little undersized for heavy-duty run support, but he's an aggressive player who looks to get involved as a tackler -- somewhat high in his hits but usually reliable. Upright in his backpedal. Gets hung up a little in his turns and is a little hesitant in his reactions, but he has a very good break on the ball. Jumps well and has good body control. Lacks an explosive deep burst.
