Starter since his freshman year. Missed most of his junior year with a torn pectoral muscle. Thick-legged with average upper body definition and strength. Takes on blocks aggressively. Not quick to disengage. Gets ridden out too much. Takes good pursuit angles. Can run through a crease and make a play. Solid tackler -- tends to go low in his hits. A little stiff in his openfield redirection. Has an adequate pass drop -- physical in coverage, but somewhat limited. Good special teams player who should make an impact there. Backup caliber longsnapper.
