A tall left guard with a big frame and long arms. Not muscular, but can get bigger. Three-year starter. Has average quickness off the ball. Not explosive at the point of attack, but flashes some nastiness. Runs reasonably well. A little awkward on the move. Struggles when he has to reach defenders. Goes to the ground too much. Capable pass blocker. Extends his arms and uses his hands well. Lunges at defenders some. Can bend his knees. Battles tough at the line of scrimmage, but gets into off-balance positions too easily when sliding his feet.
