Canadian. Four-year starter. Redshirted in '97 after suffering a knee injury in the opener. Lacks ideal size and power. Strikes a bit high and lacks strong leg drive, but is an effective wall off blocker who sustains contact well. Does a good job of firing upfield and striking linebackers. Alert -- actively looks for other defenders to hit. Pulls well. Will throw his body around. Decent pass protector. Not a natural knee-bender, but he uses his hands fairly well and shows some ability to keep his feet and recover when the defender gets an initial edge.
