A strongside guard with short arms, sturdy legs and good strength. Has ordinary quickness off the ball. Overextends at times, but fights hard to recover and finishes his blocks with aggression. Alert. Picks up stunts smartly. Not fast or athletic, but is tenacious on the pull and usually finds a way to contact a defender. Has decent punch in pass protection. Not a natural knee bender. Needs to do a better job of keeping separation -- sometimes gets too "chest to chest" with the rusher. Not smooth sliding his feet. Overachiever. Possible center.
