Four-year starter at guard. Undersized. Short-legged with a wide upper body. Needs to upgrade his strength. Good competitor. Aware. Has an understanding of positioning. Has average quickness off the ball. Strikes a solid initial blow and works to sustain. Plays low. Overextends and goes to the ground a little too often. Does a good job of moving out on linebackers and cutting them. Inconsistent on the pull. Alert in pass protection. Fights tough at the line but needs to do a better job of using his hands. Could merit a look at center.
