Four-year starter. Very productive. Had a positive performance at the Blue-Gray Game. A thick-legged inside linebacker with a muscular build. Shorter than ideal. Tough run defender. Reacts quickly. Physical taking on blocks. Takes good angles to the ball, but has ordinary speed. Needs to protect his legs better. Chases plays hard but is a stiff openfield mover who doesn't change directions smoothly. Limited in coverage -- gets hung up a little in his drop and is awkward in his turn and run. Intelligent. Overachiever with a chance as a situational pro.
