Backup safety most of his career. Started at cornerback as a senior. A good overall athlete who lacks ideal size. Short and small-framed. Has short arms, a muscular upper body, and good strength. Runs fairly well, but lacks a strong deep burst -- more quick than fast. Smooth in his backpedal. Adequate in his turn and run. Gives a cushion but closes strong. Does well in press coverage. Aggressive. Not a classic form tackler, but he'll throw his body around willingly and usually get the job done. Should be an effective special teams player.
