A short outside linebacker with a stocky build. Muscular. Inconsistent in his ability to defeat blocks and make plays against the inside run, but he's a high-effort player who works hard in pursuit and is a solid on-the-move tackler. Doesn't have a dynamic burst but he takes good angles and redirects fairly well. More tough than athletic. Limited in coverage. Hesitant in his initial reaction. Stiff in his drop. Lacks good zone awareness and struggles with moves in man situations. A rugged role-player type prospect with a good special teams mentality.
