THE SCOOP
Rams Kurt Warner goes deep, Isaac Bruce makes a great catch, and -- when needed -- Mike Jones makes the big play. This could have been almost any game this super season for the Rams. What made it special was that it came in Super Bowl XXXIV and brought an MVP trophy to Warner and the Lombardi Trophy to the Rams. They beat the Tennessee Titans 23-16 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in front of more than 72,000 fans and a worldwide television audience. The Rams avenged a loss to the Titans from earlier in the season and proved they are a team the rest of the NFL will need to reckon with in the years to come.
