Beltway blowout
Redskins dominate Lions 27-13 at FedEx Field
The Detroit Lions had never won a game in the nation's capital heading into Saturday's wild-card game against the Washington Redskins. Never -- as in 0-19 in Washington since 1939. The Redskins easily extended that streak to 20 straight on Saturday with a 27-13 win over the Lions. Stephen Davis ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns, before leaving midway through the second quarter after suffering a sprained knee. The Lions proved to be mistake-prone against Washington -- as they had been for much of the season -- and were unable to fight back from a 27-0 halftime deficit.
