Burgess is a somewhat undersized 4-3 left end who came on strong as a senior and had a positive Senior Bowl performance. He is shorter than ideal, but is well-built with fairly long arms. Burgress is an above average pass rusher with good body control, and he has the ability to duck his shoulder and get under the blocker to turn the corner on a wide charge.
