Gibson is a muscular strong safety with a large frame and long arms who was a three-year starter. He is a physical tackler who wraps well and can punish ballcarriers, though he needs to be more consistently aggressive to the ball in run defense. Gibson shows good coverage skills, is physical with receivers and can match up well with tight ends and backs.
