Biography: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore season and named as an all-American after his junior and senior campaigns. Totals last year included 41/1/7 after 63/6/4 the prior year. Had six interceptions as a sophomore.
Positives: "Opportunistic cornerback who constantly makes plays on the ball. Fluid turning his hips transitioning off the line with opponents, displays a sense of timing, and correctly positions himself to make a play on the ball. Mixes it up with receivers throughout the route, displays toughness against the run, and quickly gets to the ball carrier. Remains disciplined with assignments, displays good route recognition in zone coverage and has opposing quarterbacks purposely throwing away from him. Breaks down well, flexible, and stays with receivers out of breaks."
Negatives: Prefers to side shuffle and rarely backpedals off the line. Struggles to quickly drive out of his plant. Occasionally loses out in battles.
Analysis: Lindsey is one of the more underrated cornerbacks in this year's draft and a legitimate small school prospect with NFL skills. He may never be a starter at the next level but has the ability to be used as a nickel or dime back in zone coverage.
