Colin Madison
Biography: Three-year starter who was awarded all-Conference honors as a senior. Used at both left and right guard for Temple.
Positives: "Large, powerful run blocker who plays with a nasty attitude. Blocks with good lean, bends his knees, and immediately gets his hands into defenders. Possesses terrific overall body strength, drives defenders off the line, and opens the running lanes. Goes after opponents, shows terrific punch at the point of attack, and is patient in pass protection. Keeps his head on a swivel and helps out teammates." Negatives: "Bends at the waist and overextends into defenders, which adversely affects his ability to finish blocks. Gets tall at times. Stiff and minimally effective blocking in motion." Analysis: Madison has an NFL build and the strength to be used in a power running offense. He must improve his flexibility but is a practice squad player who could make a two deep for an NFL team. Projection: FA |
