Conference: Sun Belt
40 Time: 4.55
Biography: "Used as part of the starting rotation the past three seasons, most recently posting 43/612/15 as a senior after junior totals of 34/528/4."
Positives: "Adequately sized possession receiver with reliable hands. Uses his frame to shield away defenders, displays good eye/hand coordination, and will expose himself to the big hit in order to come away with the ball. Comes back to passes out of breaks, effectively makes the over-the-shoulder catch downfield, and easily adjusts to errant throws to make the reception in stride. Settles into open spots on the field, extends his hands, and offers the quarterback a nice target."
Negatives: Lacks a quick release off the line and does not have a second gear or the ability to stretch the field vertically. Occasionally struggles in battles.
Analysis: Ellingson was productive on the college level and will get consideration as a fifth receiver in the NFL primarily used to run underneath routes.
