Keeps his feet driving on contact and consistently plays with good knee bend."

Negatives: Not light on his feet and lacks skill pursuing the action or stringing plays out laterally. Does not play with good balance. Must develop more moves with his hands. Marginal pass rusher.

Analysis: "Kearse is a strong, wide-bodied defender who does a better job occupying blockers rather than making plays up the field. He could develop into a zero-technique/nose tackle prospect at the next level as he physically matures, adds bulk to his frame, and gets stronger."
