PLAYERS
Biography: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his freshman year and named Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year in
2008. Rushing totals last season included 259/1253/11 with 29/247/1 receiving . Posted career-best numbers of 273/1440/21
on the ground as a sophomore with 78/522/1 as a receiver. Freshman totals included 1021 yards on the ground with 14 scores.
Positives: "Incredibly productive college back who projects as a rotational/third-down back in the NFL. Runs low to the ground and gets lost behind blockers. Shows terrific quickness and a sudden burst. Can turn the corner and has the ability to sidestep defenders. Runs with an aggressive style, hits the hole hard, and keeps his feet moving up the field. Can change direction without losing momentum and easily avoids piles or leaves opponents grasping for air. Solid receiver who makes the reception away from his frame. Consistently turns it north-south when the ball is in his hands." Negatives: Easily brought down by a single defender. Could be considered too aggressive for his own good. Lacks the speed to run to daylight. Analysis: "Rodgers was a tremendous offensive threat at Oregon State, constantly producing in a variety of ways. He lacks the size/speed numbers to be anything other than a part-time player at the next level but should be very productive as a third-down back with the ability to make plays in space." Projection: 4-5
