PLAYERS
Biography: Two-year starter named Big East Offensive Player of the Year last season after posting career numbers of 334/1695/14 on the
ground with 19/94 as a receiver. Junior totals included 1188 yards on the ground with 14 TDs.
Positives: "Elusive, creative runner who has good quickness. Patiently waits for blocks develop, picks his way on the inside, and makes defenders miss at the line of scrimmage or in the open field. Runs low to the ground and displays outstanding balance and the ability to quickly change direction without losing momentum. Displays a burst through the hole, keeps his feet moving up the field, and stays in bounds trying to pick up as much yardage as possible. Possesses the speed to turn the corner and quickly turns up the field when available. Is a solid receiver out of the backfield." Negatives: Not a strong back and easily brought down by the first defender or stopped dead in his tracks. Must give better effort as a blocker. Analysis: Todman has proven to be an outstanding college runner the past two seasons and almost always picks up positive yardage. He lacks the size to be a featured runner at the next level but should be effective as a third-down back or situational ball carrier. Projection: 4th ![]() Damian Strohmeyer/SI
