Positives: Big and relatively athletic blocker with a large upside. Strong at the point, displays quickness in his all-around game and rather easily adjusts to oncoming defenders. Anchors in pass protection, knocks pass rushers from their angle of attack and works to stay square and keep defenders in front of him. Makes good use of blocking angles. Works to bend his knees, displays good hand punch and keeps his head on a swivel.

Negatives: Must be more consistent with his hand placement, as he is late getting them into opponents. Does not possess quick footwork in pass protection. Must improve his run blocking and learn to finish the play.

Analysis: Massie provided immediate impact as a freshman at Mississippi, and is a large lineman with a developing game. He possesses growth potential and should only get better as he physically matures and improves the details of his position.
