Biography: Played in six games last season, totaling 9 tackles/1 interceptions/6 pass breakups before eventually being dismissed from the Oregon program for a violation of team rules. Awarded All-American and all-conference honors as a sophomore with totals of 33/6/17.
Positives: Highly decorated college cornerback with marginal upside for the next level. Effective facing the action, works well with safeties and displays good hands for the interception. Opportunistic, quickly locates the pass in the air and plays with a large degree of quickness. Has a burst to the action and works to get off blocks.
Negatives: Physically overmatched by opponents. Prefers to side shuffle down the field and very quick to leave his backpedal. Loses a sense of where his opponent is on the field. Indecisive and does not show a sense of timing defending the pass.
Analysis: Harris watched his game fall off last year after a terrific sophomore season. He's been overrated by many and lacks the physical skills necessary to start at the next level. Harris could be an asset as a dime back in zone coverage if he proves his worth on special teams.
