PLAYERS
Biography: Junior college transfer awarded all-conference honors as a senior after leading Arkansas State in receiving with 94 receptions/1156
yards/6 TDs. Junior totals included 69/738/6.
Positives: Undersized slot receiver who's been incredibly productive in college. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, quick into breaks and is a sharp route runner. Stays low exiting routes and positions himself to make the reception. Displays a sense of timing, has good eye/hand coordination and gets vertical to pull the ball from the air. Effectively reaches backwards to grab the errant throw, uses his frame to shield away defenders and turns it on in a single step. Displays tremendous quickness in his overall game. Negatives: Small and loses out in battles. Benefited from the four-receiver sets used at Arkansas State. Lacks home-run hitting speed. Analysis: Frampton was the go-to guy at Arkansas State, and the receiver defenses struggled to stop. He's an elusive skill player who consistently finds the open spot in the defense then works to pick up yardage after the reception. Frampton is also experienced returning punts. His pass catching ability coupled with his return skills could help him catch on as a fifth receiver. Projection: FA
