PLAYERS
Biography: Junior college transfer who moved into the starting lineup last season on a full-time basis and posted 37 tackles/1 interception/11
pass breakups. Junior totals included 33 tackles and four pass defenses.
Positives: Developing cornerback with a variety of skills. Works hard, battles receivers and fights to defend the throw. Displays good awareness on the field, effective in zone coverage and stays with assignments. Fluid flipping his hips, loses nothing transitioning to run with opponents and possesses an adequate burst to the ball. Negatives: Struggles making plays with his back to the ball and does not correctly position himself against receivers. Does a bit of trailing in coverage. Analysis: Menzie is an aggressive, but patient cornerback who plays within himself and does a terrific job handling his responsibilities. He does not possess the outright speed to start at the NFL, but should be an asset as a nickel or dimeback in zone coverage. Projection: 5th
