Biography: Four-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a sophomore.
Positives: Wide-bodied college left tackle who projects to guard at the next level. Quickly sets up off the snap, effectively works his hands throughout the action and stays square to keep opponents in front of him. Bends his knees, blocks with a wide base and makes good use of blocking angles. Shows the ability to adjust to blitzers and speed rushers. Has better than average lateral blocking range and is very effective in pass protection. Jolts opponents with good hand punch and turns them off the line of scrimmage.
Negatives: Not light on his feet and ineffective blocking in motion. At times does too much clutching and grabbing of opponents. Gets pushed back off the line. Looks overweight.
Analysis: Parker had an up-and-down college career and never really elevated his game after a terrific sophomore season. He possesses the body type and movement skills to get looks as a guard yet he must quickly pick up the tempo of his play and properly condition himself.
