PLAYERS
Biography: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors after his senior season. Missed the final six games of the 2010 season with
a knee injury.
Positives: Large, strong lineman who is best blocking for the run. Effective when he plays with good lean, controls defenders at the point of attack and gets movement run blocking. Keeps his feet moving, quickly sets up in pass protection and shows the ability to adjust to oncoming pass rushers. Negatives: Lacks footwork in pass protection and the ability to slide laterally. Does not block with a nasty attitude. Not light on his feet and lumbers around the field. Analysis: Oglesby looks the part and occasionally plays to it yet must pick up the consistency of his game to have any real chance at the next level. Measurables make him worth keeping on a practice squad. Projection: FA |
